Give away writing

Go online, social media, found give-away.

I love my pens, inks, and paper. There are weekly give away sponsored by a few pen retailers. Within one of them, Anderson Pens, sponsored biweekly write-in give away.

For this almost ending one, actually my first time joining their write-in give away, the prize is a Pilot Stargazer fountain pen. I wrote a letter to them.

In fact it was a letter of questions.

Stargazer? It's name in Japan is Stella 90S. Why/how did it name Stargazer?

I thought about a famous stargazer (or astrologist) discovered a planet or constellation and named it Stella 90S. Well that's just my thoughts, of course no evidence yet. Searching "stella" in English and Japanese yielded weird and unrelated results. Sigh!

An additional question was, also centered on the "stars" part, spotting glitters on the pen body, as well as the body color.

I owned a few "star" pens from Sailor. Even Pilot capless raden galaxy has great stars. This question is because the pen body seemingly doesn't show glitters, I put this as an irrelevant point to name the pen Stargazer. As for the color, besides black and dark blue, they have pearl white and red. Huh? They are saying the sky sometimes is white or red?

I think the name Stargazer is very interesting. I wonder what the answer is.
